BikeExif is responsible for much of the hipster shyte.

After reading lots of "How do you make LED indicators work?" comment son the review pages of that site, I contacted them offering to write some "How to" articles.

The owner of the site wrote back, "we don't want our readers to know how to build their own bikes, our advertisers pay us not to explain anything"

Which will be why hipsters pay silly money for a basic bike with simple crap mods. They have been told by BikeExif that it is complicated.
