Yes they did.

Uncle Nate asked me yesterday if there'd be one and a while ago VJ enquired about the possibility of holding it at the new Apocalypticus site (not far from the previous years one in Buckinghamshire).

The deal there is that there's a sports & social club on the site (old RAF base/ land) so somewhere to warm up indoors with a bar/ toilets, we should be allowed a fire and there's even room to fuck about on bikes plus critically they offer camping.
There's also a small amount of woodland there so we may be able gather some firewood.

Now to the most important part:
VJs done his bit in supplying a possible site, I have the contact details for it and have herded for the last several FuPs (excluding last year when Capt.Dan did help me out by liaising with the venue we used) so it looks like Uncle Nate is the prime volunteer for it this time as he's been the first to ask about it

I'm currently making good progress on the garage, painting the inside white to give plenty of light but can't do too much more after that 'til spring when the weather warms up (to seal the floor) so I'll be trying to get the CBR and pitbike running in the meantime.

If I manage to get the pitbike sorted I'll take it to the FuP…. providing people actually commit and fancy doing it that is.

It's got to be Jan or Feb right?

Spoke to Capt.Dan today, he'll be back mid/ late February so let's look at that as a possible FuP date for now.

Just had the heads up on camping at Westcott Social Club for the FuP weekend.

They said...
"Shouldn't be a problem it's £5 per night per tent/ van outside fires are no issue as long as they are kept an eye on, outside water tap no issue the archery has a toilet if needed whilst the club is closed, I'm not sure what we have going on at the club that weekend but you are more than welcome to come in and keep warm."


Also spoke to Louise who is on the board of directors for the Apocolypticus event and she says the village will be in a state of dismantlement and rebuild by then as they are having to move it to a different area of their grounds to keep the land owner happy.
Whether or not we can camp / hang out in the village I guess will be down to what goes on that weekend or indeed if anyone gives a fek.

Just one important thing- access, did you ask if we can get on site mid afternoon fri?
Looking at their website the club opens at 17:00, it'd be nice to get there and set up before dark if poss.

Just got this back from them.
We can sort nearer the time normally on a friday the gates are open from 9 till 1ish. But I'm only in Westcott itself so doesn't take me long to get there if needed.

So it looks like that are open from 9AM in the morning until just before I get there in the early hours
