Apocalypticus Roll Call
Who's going to Apocalypticus then?
I'll do my usual of overnighting near Leeds on Thursday, so I should get to the event at a reasonable time. There is every risk of me being early

We should be there. I think Leigh got tickets forever ago.
Dunno if we'll be doing both days or just saturday.

Not this year, sadly, but I sold my tickets to a lovely family, the Baronses.

Re: Apocalypticus Roll Call
I went and it was an absolute hoot. Loads of fun. Got utterly soaked in the last hour of driving there, so when doing the Friday afternoon food'n'booze run to tesco I also got some dry socks and the local free newspaper to dry my boots out.
Bright hot sunshine on the Saturday, I wore shorts for part of the day. The road run was great fun.
It was an interesting mix of people, not just your standard biker crowd, there weren't any 70's rock cover bands, there were loads of cool cars, a real mix of vehicles. 98% pf people there had made a costume of some sort. Nobody took themselves too seriously (except the photographers but I've learned from WW that they're always up their own @rse). There were some minor niggles that go with it being only their third year, but all things considered, the event was great and I know I am going back next year.
