Ive started off on my journey last wednesday at a much slower pace 4mph,
. We've got on the Grand Union canal after doooooin 30+ locks so far,. Fails so far ..... swiped a bridge and a dog i am looking after jumped in canal lucky it was tied on but was dragged along for a bit, wet labradors are heavy man.

I also went to a canal/boat museum, you`d love it!
I you go far enough north you can also visit - it`s on the Shropshire Union Canal.
Have you seen BoatyMcBoatface yet?
I did;
Yeah i`m really liking the Big, got a real nice groove to it.
Just put new chain and sprockets on it as they were shagged after Wales and it`s improved the drive quite a bit - smoother and quiter.
Not quite ready to bin the CX`s just yet!
Went for a quick blat on the CBR immediately getting off the Big, that fucker is so uncomfortable....
