Go on then you custy runts, whos interested if i do the organising? Ive got a short list of pubs in Worcestershire/Shropshire but im not gunna start phoning around if nobody is interested.

Im thinking about early/mid feb cause im away last weekend in feb and it aint really a freezeup if we do it in march.

I'm deffo interested.

I can't do the second weekend of Feb, 10th- 12th.
I'm not drinking until after aforementioned weekend but might entertain it and try a sober dooo ( ) if it's the first weekend of Feb.

I'm not sure if June is being sarky, I wouldn't call it fancy- I preferred it when we were going there for the R&S.
It's now trying to be a bit posherer since the new landlord took over but the range of beers available was totally impressive (plus the roaring fire) and made up for the naff interior décor (and complete lack of attempt to hide the mess of wiring to the TV on the wall- imagine Nates wiring on his bikes and you get the picture).

And if anyone else can bring firewood it'd be appreciated, I can manage some but more is always good- I'm taking a fire basket to keep it off the ground, pre-sawn 1' lengths to fit the basket are always good.

I'll be getting there early afternoon, probably around5/6ish. I'll bring as much firewood as I can carry, excess aint eactly built for carrying much but a rider mind.

I hope to be there and set up with a beer by then, I shall throw things at you and supervise setting up your tent.

Bike is currently in bits awaiting a clutch plate and gubbins befo0re I have any chance of even contemplating coming along.

Sunday morning as we're departing?

Parcel of bits has arrived and it's missing the shaft seals so no point in reassembling with a new clutch if it's going to piss oil onto it.
No idea when the rest of the bits will arrive but atleast they've not charged me PnP for what they left off.

Request to anyone coming to VJs FuP/ MeltDown:

Please keep your eyes open for sources of firewood when you get closer to the pub and it'll make collecting it easier when we need more.

Pretty sure mouse having a reliable bike is one of the harbingers of the apocalypse

Just got home. My clutch seems to have sprung a leak, but topping up the fluid got me home ok.
A small but enjoyable FuP, the pub was great and so was the company Roll on the next bash!
