Yarp, what was planned is still planned
Nowt's changed.
Still going ahead.
Bring refreshments and a little grub (pizza or ovenable stuff/ bbq fare), limited indoor floor space- garden space for tenting or the garage is now mostly (possibly totally by then) weather tight.
I have fucked my back up though so may not be able to ride with youse lot to the Ace, we'll see how it comes on- it's improved today so it might be alright by Sunday.

Good show, Gary is coming and Esox expressed interest a while back- with Uncle Nate and (Aunty?- if Nate is Uncle then surely she's Aunty Leigh/ she won't like it.... I know I'll pay for this) Leigh we should have a good time.
Apparently Bren might've been interested but I've heard nowt from or about him.
Jim used to attend, don't know if he's free from kiddly things this w/end?
I've invited a couple of sound neighbours who may come as well although I don't think they're big drinkers so I won't blame them for not staying long if they do come

Ok, although the 'etc' makes me start wanting to know rough numbers if it means more than Bren from FB so I can get enough milk in for the morning brews.

Re: Hoon, owt happening this weekend?
Thanks Hoon for great hospitality as usual.
`Twas a good ride this morning to the Ace via the backroads followed by the customary melancholic ride home down the M3 on the first evening after the end of BST and the clocks going back. The last half hour was proper nippy.
I had one minor luggage fail on the way home and one `near miss`.
I saw some gloop on the back end of the bike when we were at the Ace and Gary said he saw something dripping out of my bag on the way. When i got home i found out what it was - a tinny had punctured and the lid of a condiment bottle had come off so i was greeted with a beer and tomato sauce emulsion when i unpacked. It was alright though as my sleeping bag soaked up most of it. Good job it didn`t happen on the way up...
I missed being totalled on the way home by milliseconds.
On a favourite stretch of road i came up behind a couple of cars. I decided to squirt past them before the left hander came up ahead. Just as i got level with the front car doing about 70 a feckin` deer skipped across the road in front of us - a split second earlier i would have hit it square-on.
Further up the road there were several `Beware deer` signs erected. It`s a known spot around there for them but i`ve never seen those signs before, they must be particularly active this year.
Hope everyone got home fail-free.

Re: Hoon, owt happening this weekend?
Glad you didn't collect the dear (wwavd?- what would a vegan doo? clearly eating the remains is not an option but what a waste! ) sorry)
"What I wanna know is how they train the deer to cross at that point...

Funnily enough I'm just polishing off some venison pate that someone left at mine from last night btw....
No messy luggage scenarios for me on the way home- just the usual North Circ & A13 fun (neither as bad as they can be in reality)
Yeah the run there was good, I'd've paid good money to be a fly on the wall(?) and watched us and folks reactions as 7 rats rolled through the Essex cuntryside and Norf Lundon.
And yes, I am known for my hostility
