It is with great sadness that I have to announce my first MOT failure since 1993 or 94 - low tyre tread, of all things!

Surely tyres used to be an advisory, unless the canvas was showing?

And have you looked at the price of bastard tyres lately Sad Sad Sad

I change well before the wear marker now, Excess is twitchy anyways without being low on grip and tyres are cheaper than crankcases when you drop it

Greg - wrestling with a Soviet tyre on an IZH-rim... marked made in USSR. - I think I'll cut that one bit out and put it up on the wall in the workshop.
