2023 R&S show?

I'm planning on going. Might take the suitably ratty trials bike if I can work out how to carry stuff on it because the rear subframe is just about strong enough to hold a plastic mudguard and a taillight. Not sure if a tankbag will fit on the tiny wee trials tank but I'll give it a go. Might land up bivvying.

Given it's maxed out at about 35mph, I'll probably van it most of the way down. Tentative plan is to park the van at Gloucster Premier Inn (parking all weekend for £4.20 with good CCTV cover) then ride the rest of the way on backroads. It'll be a good shakedown for my next long distance trial the following weekend.

I'm intending to go. It's blocked out in my calendar. Looking forward to seeing you lot.

It'll probably be the last time I go on The Scream, I have done the deal on the GSX1100G I have talked about in the past. Legally it is now mine. That is still being resurrected (by a Honda and Triumph factory trained mechanic) after a 20 year lay off. It's not yet roadworthy, but by R&S 2024 it should be. So, 2023 will be the Scream's final year

That would be interesting, worth a look. Although i have a trial the following weekend so I'm not going to kick the arse out of it because I don't have much free time to fix any breakages.

Did anyone else eat the chicken curry at the R&S?

I've spent all day either in bed or on the bog. Never honked up so much in years.

Reason I'm asking is it is about the only thing I had over the weekend that would be likely to make someone ill, everything else was either flame grilled or deep fried. I do remember thinking it wasn't particularly hot at the time

Gary had some sort of curry affair on Saturday, haven't heard from him since- hope he's still alive!

Luckily I only had chips on Friday night, was rather disappointed with them.

Man, this is a gift that keeps giving. 2 days off work now. Can't be more than 30 seconds away from the bog!
