GROUNDED!! The ultimate fail!

The Doc has grounded me from driving. I mean I could nip out once in a while but feel that the fallout from an accident wouldn’t be worth it.
I'm taking the opportunity to strip the Diesel bike back to the chassis and do some maintenance, what with only changing the oil in the 18 months or so it's been on the road.

Hopefully it's only a short term thing but in the meantime I'm buswanker.

Time to break out the pushiron for the shorterer journeys and maybe build an electrically assisted version?

Already got one of those fucking awful folding monstrosities so there are no restrictions taking it on a wanking train.
And it's the batteries for an electric thing that firmly kick an ebike project squarely in the balls
For something worth messing with you're looking at something in the order of £200 for the battery pack alone. Which if this turns into a long term thing will actually be cheap, but until then it's off the radar.

Riding a bicycle isn't too bad, it's one of the few forms of exercise which I can do in my 40s without feeling like a wazzock

Actually it's a precautionary thing. I'm back in next week so hopefully there will be some results that will put me in the clear shortly after that.

petrol ( diesel ?) powered treadly then  ( and can you get matt black lycra? as far as i can tell it only comes in liquorice allsort patterns )
