I'm back... now what?
Been a day or two since I was around these parts... or parts like it.
Who's still around from the good old times, when we would gather in a part of the web and talk about the times before then?
Currently getting back into the world of things you can fall off. Successfully failed Mod 1 on Tuesday due to nerves. Off to look at an old SR 125 in the morning.
Still running rusty old shite, not had a proper rat in a long time though.

Happy days, be nice to catch up.
The SR is looking fine. Fork seals are a bit weepy, but that's easy sorted. Just needs a bit of tlc and a tune.

So far it starts, so that's good. Did a video, but unable to post on here. Spent some time on it today. Cleaned the weepy seals and they seem ok now. Normally I would strip the carbon, but I'm curious to see how it runs as is.
Drained the oil and discovered the filter is torn and in a terrible state, so new one required. Battery expected for it on today.
Worryingly the airbox was oily, no sign of it comming up the breather though. Strange.

Was hoping to have it going today. No filter though. So I stripped the carb and did that instead. Rubber intake joint is knackered. Taped for now, new one ordered.

I'm here. Back living in Scotland after having lived in Australia. Built a survival bike based on a KLE500 a few years ago.
Last week I was up your way in the semi-ratty campervan that I have built.
